OVERVIEW OF TEST INSTRUCTIONS
- Testing Environment: Ensure your environment is quiet and free from distractions. Close other applications and notifications to avoid any disturbances.
- Lighting Conditions: Perform the test in a well-lit environment that is not overly bright. Avoid backlighting or strong reflections.
- Device Requirements: All online participants must use a computer or tablet with a screen size of at least 13 inches and a resolution of no less than 1024×768.
- Body Posture: Maintain an upright sitting posture during the test, with both feet flat on the floor and hands naturally resting on the table.
- Screen Distance: Keep a distance of 50-70 cm (approximately one arm’s length) between your eyes and the screen.
- Eye Level: Ensure your eyes are level with the center of the screen to avoid looking up, down, or sideways. Adjust the height of your chair or the angle of the screen to ensure comfort and maintain a parallel line of sight. Avoid unnatural head tilts, unnecessary blinking, and frequent body movements.
- Test Breaks: After completing each test, participants may arrange breaks according to their own needs. In principle, each break should not exceed 5 minutes. If a longer break is needed, please inform the researcher in advance.
Notes: Follow the instructions and requirements of the researcher during the test and complete the calibration and measurement of the eye-tracking device before the formal test. During the test, avoid frequent head turns and body movements to ensure the accuracy of data collection. If you encounter any issues or discomfort during the test, please raise your hand immediately.
