INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEST PARTICIPANTS

Device and Environment Requirements

  1. Device Requirements: Participants taking the test online must ensure their device is equipped with either an integrated camera or an external webcam. (Participants in offline testing can disregard)
  2. Testing Environment: Ensure the testing environment is quiet and free from distractions, with adequate lighting and no strong reflections. Close all irrelevant applications and notifications to avoid external interference.
  3. Posture and Distance: Maintain a natural sitting posture, keeping a distance of 50-70 cm (approximately one arm’s length) between your eyes and the screen.

Testing Process and Guidelines

  1. Test Scheduling: All participants in the intervention model test must follow the unified scheduling and arrangements made by the researchers.
  2. During the Test: Follow the researchers’ instructions to complete the required tasks. Before starting the test, complete the eye-tracking calibration process as prompted on the screen.
  3. Physiological Responses: During the test, respond naturally based on your personal condition, including but not limited to lowering your head, closing your eyes, gazing, or talking.
  4. Feedback and Follow-Up: After the test, complete a questionnaire and participate in further discussions or sharing sessions as arranged by the researchers.
  5. Handling Interruptions: If you experience any discomfort or need to interrupt the test for any reason, notify the researchers immediately.
